Caitlin’s primary focus is on addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She values every client’s background, belief system, and life experience. She listens without judgment, seeking to understand each client’s unique set of values, ideas, opinions, problems, patterns, and challenges. She offers perspectives, reflections, resources, curiousity, and an abundance of empathy in every client’s journey towards healing.
In recovery from alcohol use disorder (AUD) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) since 2014, Caitlin is familiar with recovery resources and programs. She has experience with both in-patient and out-patient programs as well as lived experience with 12-step, Buddhist-inspired, CBT-oriented, and independent recovery models. Caitlin has a special interest in animal assisted therapy (AAT) and welcomes opportunities to share knowledge and resources regarding the therapeutic benefits of animal companions.
